Good Morning, Good Morning! Up and adam… Shake and oats down, sipping coffee and ready to start the day. Boy was I POOPED last night. Such a go go go day and ending with some faux painting took me over the edge. Now ready to pick it back up and begin the day. Hope everyone is ready for the weekend and whether you have plans to do something or plans to do nothing, enjoy your time!!
Heading out the door shortly for my morning walk and to the gym for one client and then heading home. A small amount of work online and then faux painting I go… 🙂
Thoughts…
It is so common to know those people that are complainers, right? No matter how great their life is or a situation is, some people always find a way to complain and see things 1/2 empty
We all know people who just like to complain. It seems that no matter how good they have it, they’re always spreading negative energy. Even the best, most painstaking listener can have trouble with someone who finds fault with everything around them. If you stay strong, no matter what situation you are in, if you hold true to how you are and stay bold with your character, you can avoid this “half empty” thought process and keep your positive outlook! If you ever start to see the “dark side” of any situation or find yourself blaming your circumstances on other people or things, take another look within and deal with it then. So many people think that change will make them happy. Here is one time I will Say CHANGE is not the answer to “filling your glass”. If you think a change of scenery will solve all your problems, think again. Change can be good, of course, we all know that! BUT they will not change YOU! Moving on to new things can be an exciting, a way to test yourself and break a rut. But it’s important to start with yourself when you’re finding things to improve. No matter where you live, work or play, what you are wearing, what you drive, the only constant is YOU. You can’t escape yourself. Change on the outside will have no effect on your happiness or fulfillment unless you change on the inside, too. Think about ways to change the inner, your core, in order to reflect a change in your outlook….
Think about it, in ever situation, is your glass half full or half empty? You can always find the positive in any situation and see things however you want to see them. How do you decide to see things?
This is one thing I have really learned from my Dad and will never forget! I dedicate a lot of my outlook on life & situations (good or bad), to him. He has always taught me how to see things in a different way! The bottom line is there are things we can’t change. Situations that come up that we have no control over… do you want to sit and sulk for feel sorry for yourself or do you want to see the good in the situation and see how it can teach you, inspire you, allow you grow, etc. Think about it….
