Good morning everyone!! Wow, I had to run to the shopping center yesterday to grab a SINGLE gift and what a mess… It was 7:00 at night and looked like it was Saturday at noon. Tons of people, lines out the doors and craziness!! I went to get Michael’s gift and then had to get some Green Tea at my favorite store when I realized I was not given my change from my previous purchase.  I knew I wasn’t crazy… I knew just how much I had brought to the mall and how much I spend and It wasn’t adding up.  I checked myself over and over again and was positive, I was not given my $40+ change!!! How were they going to believe me.. not sure what they were going to do, if I was going to have to wait until the end of the night when their register was over count or what.  I went back to the store and sure enough, with out question, the guy said, “oh yes, i think I did forget to give you your change. I am so sorry!”  Without question, he gave me back my change.  Crazy… You really have to watch people, especially this time of year!! Not that he meat to but with all the craziness, people running around, asking questions, etc.  It is human to make mistakes.  Don’t get wrapped up in the craziness (as I did, walking away without my change!!) stay focused and watch people!
On another note,
–not to mention a bank charge I  caught on my last statement! You always have to stay up on things and check people’s mistakes!  They happen all the time!
Needless to say, I was able to get the gift I needed to get and get my change back without question. I got lucky he didn’t question me!
I was there getting ONE gift… It was just crazy to see people buying so much, whipping out credit cards, … no wonder people are in the positions they are in.  What about making a good family dinner and playing games… Sometimes I really think people forget about the holiday and the focus becomes more on gifts… Remember it is the small things that at the end of the day make the difference!  If you get a gift, be sure it is thought out and one that will last forever!
Be careful out there as you complete you last minute shopping!
