Morning Welcome to another Happy weekend! Hope everyone had a great end to your week! I got a good night’s sleep after some serious unexpected cardio! My energy got me walking along the bay, about a 4 mile, walk I do from start to finish. I was running randomly from bench to bench and then would stop for a set of sit ups. Did that on the way to my turning point and a few times back. I had groceries in my trunk and was ready to head home when I was about to get to my car, realized I had left my key on the bench where I did my last set of sit-ups, which was way back at the turning point! Oh no… So back to walk the bay I went. Another 3 unexpected miles were walked as I kept my fingers crossed my car key was sitting right where I left it! Sure enough, it was, clear as day sitting on the bench! Thank gosh it was there and I got lucky! Anyways kind of a funny moment, after the fact! Anyways lesson learned! 😉
I had a great day yesterday, busy with clients and online updates. I had an awesome 25 minute Treadmill session in the a.m. and then did 20 minutes of circuit training with static stretching in between each set.
I had delicious meals yesterday, including the Peanut Butter Sesame Shirataki Noodles for Lunch!:) Have to give that one a try!
meal 1: oats and protein shake
meal 2: protein pancakes (1/2 c. oats, 2 egg whites, scoop of protein)
meal 3: PB Sesame Shirataki noodles with 4 oz tilapia on the side
meal 4: veggie stir-fry
meal 5: big salad with tilapia and udo’s oil
meal 6: shake with 1 tbsp chia seed 🙂
Kind of funny… Bruno was neutered on Monday– that part isn’t funny– and sure enough, didn’t phase him what so ever so he is jumping around and full of energy as if nothing happened. We had to take him to the vet, on Thursday, and they gave us some sedation pills to knock him out. Okay so have you ever seen a dog sedated?? Seriously would have thought the poor guy got into the liquor! Stumbling, hardly walk, eyes blood shot and droopy! Oh my gosh, the funniest thing! I will see if I can capture it on video today, if we sedate him! lol
Thought of the day:
We are all reaching our goals each day and if not our ultimate goal, with each day we are making serious strides towards our goals! Are you writing down your goals and your success!!??? Writing and logging is key! It creates not only a reminder and a promise to yourself every day and therefore you will never forget what exactly you are striving for! Be sure to track your goals but also your daily successes! The only way to get a really accurate picture of your progress is to record what you’ve done when you do it. Journals and logging helps you keep track of your “history” and can show you what works and what doesn’t. In this journey, it is all about learning what works and what doesn’t! You would be amazed at what you will learn about yourself that you never knew! Discovering more about WHO you Are!! Also, your logging acts as a huge motivator in the future when you reflect on all your successes and your journey that got you to where you are today!
