Hope everyone is have a great day.  I wanted to make an announcement PRIOR to the official Press release..As members and fans I want to offer you exclusive info straight from the horses mouth.  I have decided to take a break from the competition stage and focus on other things.  This has been an extremely hard decision but with SO much going, I have come to terms that I am not super woman!  As a firm believer in BALANCE, as I always preach, I am taking some time to enable myself to keep the proper and healthy balance of life from business, professional, personal, health related, etc.  It is SO important to keep everything in check and if at anytime things get overwhelming, it is time to revisit everything, reevaluate and make some decisions.  As hard as it is, I have decided to focus on each and every one of YOU and help you achieve your goals.  I want to continue promoting and being that example of lifestyle fitness.  I am not disappearing form the industry, you will still see me at shows and all over but I will be focusing more on helping others achieve their goals and being that example of how it can be done without stepping on stage!  There is plenty more to discuss with my decision but I wanted to allow you to have the first opportunity on the scoop…
below is the press release.

December 2, 2009
The first thing you’re going to notice when the invitations for the 2010 IFBB Figure International comes out is one athlete’s name missing from the list – Gina Aliotti. The 2008 Figure International winner & 3-time IFBB Figure Olympia 2nd place finisher, or as some declare, the Uncrowned IFBB Figure Olympia champion, has decided to take some time away from the competitive stage.
Please be aware, Gina IS NOT retiring. At only 25 years old, she has not even reached her peak.
Gina will still be extremely involved in the sport, not only with her clients, but through her judging & emcee duties for NPC Southern California district chairman Jon Lindsay. Gina will continue her one on one coaching as she expands her team of athlete’s for NPC competitions. Plus she just re-launched her website, www.ginaaliotti.net, which contains a lot of informative content and products such as her FIT:50 recipe book and The Wedding Diet.  Gina also is focusing her time on her newly expanded one on one members section with tons of videos, q&a, recipes, videos and an interactive forum.  Gina is also continuing to grow her clothing line, G-Fit Active wear, and several other business ventures. Besides all of this, Gina is also preparing for her destination wedding on March 11, 2010.
Although you won’t be seeing Gina on stage in a competition suit, you will still be seeing a lot of Gina. At the same time, Gina will continue to be managed by FMG & we are still in search of a company that seeks to utilize Gina & her reputation to endorse their products. Gina will also be available for magazine photo shoots as well.
Gina Aliotti can be contacted exclusively through FMG at [email protected] or on Facebook; http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fitness-Management-Group/148019286572
