1 lb brussels sprouts
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
2 cloves crushed garlic

Place Brussels sprouts in a bowl of cold water with ice cubes. Sprinkle salt. Let sit for 20 minutes. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Remove Brussels sprouts from the bowl and trim the hard end off the bottom of the sprouts. Cut the sprouts lengthwise. Place in clean bowl and add olive oil, garlic, and pepper. Toss until all sprouts are coated.

Place on cooking sheet and Place in oven until soft, when touched with a fork. Turn oven to broil and let broil until brown and crispy on tops.
