Why do we exercise? Exercise does something to us mentally and physically! It is more than wanting to obtain a certain look and so much more about how it makes us feel! Exercise releases endorphins and literally gives you a natural high! Have you felt that “high”? If you exercise, you know what it feels like and would you choose to forgo that feeling? Exercise is extremely uplifting! You can be in a little funk but as soon as you get your blood circulating, you suddenly become re-energized! Not only does working out help your physical body become stronger and increase metabolism, but it also has many benefits for your mind. Taking time out of your day to exercise gives you a chance to let go of your worries, calm your mind, and concentrate on one thing, YOU.
If you are just getting started on a program or maybe you are finding yourself in a personal rut, in your current plan, just remember a little bit goes a long way! When you wake up and feel the need to sleep in or you wake up, get up and decide to crawl into bed, remember the feeling you get from exercise and how great that natural High is and go for it! Just so something but get out and move!!
