Good Morning and another beautiful weekend approaches. I have to say, I am really looking forward to this weekend. The last two weekends have been shows and so having a weekend to r&r and enjoy SD, my Hubby and the holiday sounds so much fun to me. I have been on the go and this weekend the plan is to not be on the go. We plan to work on our patio tomorrow and Sunday having a BBQ with some friends for Easter. Any Easter plans ??? We haven’t talked much about the holiday but it is right around the corner. Don’t forget your holiday helpful tips to staying on track and healthy! Today, I have some things on my list that need to get done.. misc. things. We got our marriage licenses, as I mentioned, so today it is to the bank to take care of the accounts and name change. We also have to turn in my old car ;( (gosh I loved that little thing) and run some other errands. I have to say, I feel so accomplished. this week was really busy for me but I went through my list one thing at a time and finally got through everything yesterday. I was feeling a little overwhelmed with everything on the list but took it upon myself to challenge myself and prioritize the list and go through it in an orderly fashion. I am the type of person who likes to have the list checked off by the end of the day but sometimes that isn’t realistic. After two weekends of shows, my inbox was full of e-mails from the girls for feedback… I put those aside and got to them, when everything else was done. I got to my last e-mail last night, phewwwww. Accomplished! This week I also had my Tax appointment, CHECK!
Guess what, my goal for April is to do 1-2 Yoga classes a week and yesterday was April 1st and I did just that. Went to a Hot Yoga, CHECK– and that is no April Fool’s Joke!! 😉
Got a lot of things accomplished and feel great! What a way to start off the month! Everyone things we have to make new goals come January 1st… As we always talk about, why do they have to be established only on January 1st. It is always important to re look at your goals, re establish them and re introduce them! If people set up a goal for the year and don’t accomplish it or put it aside after a few days, they give up, feel bad and get down on themselves saying there is always next year! We’ll remember those goals! I know a few of mine included Yoga, Reading, Farmers Markets… I will be honest they were not consistent so what am I doing… re visiting them.
Yoga, already CHECK
yesterday at Costco, picked up a book– Now that is going to be read this month!
Farmers Markets… going to be re visited too, they are just too darn fun and delicious.
It is okay if things go by the waist side, we often forget or get busy. All we have to do is pick them back up. No day is too late.. Start today. Re think those goals and get back on them. If you need to restructure them or redefine them, that is fine too! You can do it, I had to also!!
Hope everyone has a fabulous day. I am hoping in the shower and headed out for my day.
Meal 1: 1/2 c. crock pot oats with 1 tbsp flax-seed and coffee… Ready to begin the day! 🙂
