Hope everyone had an awesome hump day as we start to unwind, if not already unwound…
The sun started to peek through around 3ish and it is still here and out bright. Time for a nightly walk with Bruno I go. Had a great Yoga Practice this morning and used today as my day off and Yoga as my “workout”/way to “unwind” my mind. Remember, as busy as we are and as many things as we have going on, breathing slowly and taking time to focus on the breath not only helps us be present but to reduce any stress we have, conscious or unconscious! Throughout the day, take time to inhale and exhale slowly from the belly, deep within yourself. You can literally slow down your heartrate and reduce any stress you may have just by one simple deep breath!
So all this nut butter talk had me adding that in today..
meal 1: typical 1/2 c. oatmeal, protein shake 1 tbsp chia seed
meal 2: 4 egg whites, 1 small Ezekiel Tortilla
meal 3: BIG Gina Salad with 5 oz tilapia and 1/2 c. brown rice
meal 4: 2 tbsp (heaping 😉 ) Natural peanut butter with 1 scoop protein shake
meal 5: 6 egg white veggie omelet
meal 6 and 7: to be determined….
