P.M. SWIM- 24 LAPS- 20 Minutes
I am just loving my nightly swims. My goal is 3x/week and so far this week I have gone 5 so I am feeling great! I went this evening around 8:15, thinking they close at 9. Found out they close at 8:30 so I only had 15 minutes. Oh boy, I have never kicked faster. I got in 24 laps so I was happy. Lesson and Take home: I could have easily left because “15 minutes isn’t enough time” but No I got it in. Anything is better than nothing. So many people think that you have to workout for “X” amount of time to make it worth it, absolutely NOT true. I am all for doing something over nothing. Less time, you just pick up the intensity. Often times, I believe you get more out of your workouts because you have less time. I kept watching the clock and told myself I was at least going to get 20 laps and anything more was bonus. Of course, I wanted bonus laps so I just kicked a little faster. What a great way to end the evening!
Remember, anything is better than nothing. There is no excuse to walk away, just do something, it is all worth it and it ALL counts!
I am having some fun just browsing the net to get baby ideas . Not getting to crazy with things, just having fun browsing. Found this room and thought it was adorable and appropriate for our Little G on the way. Oh fun times and this is just the beginning….
Until tomorrow.. xo Gina
