Can you think back, long long ago when you were a child and dreaming of what it was you wanted to be when you grew up? Then, it seemed so simple to just know what it was you wanted, how you were going to get there and there wasn’t a question or doubt in your mind. If you wanted to be a doctor, you were going to be a doctor. If you wanted to be a firefighter, that was it, that was what you were destined to be. If you wanted to learn how to ride a bicycle, you just kept practicing and you would get the hang of it. There wasn’t much to it other than going out and practicing and suddenly you were riding your bicycle, just as you had planned out to achieve. For a moment think back on those memories and dreams you had, as a child, what was your frame of mind? How simple did ideas flow and think about their lack of complexity! As we get older, retain more responsibilities and challenges, those dreams don’t seem so clear and obtainable but they truly can be! With the right motivation, tools and practice, you can put yourself in that child’s mindset, that you once had, and “just believe in yourself”….. “if you don’t you just keep practicing, you will get the hang of it…” We all have that innocent go get it child mentality within us but it is a matter of tapping into that subconscious mind, that is deeply buried around the everyday parenthood and adulthood responsibilities and fears. If we can learn to let go of life’s pressures, and tap into what it is we want, not what society wants from us, and believe in ourselves we too can have whatever it is we want! You too can feel “happy of yourself” and ALIVE!
